Iconic Washington Here are more than 300 iconic images of rugged Washington State, home to some of the greatest natural beauty in the world. Washington is one of the few places on earth to enjoy such a wide variety of scenery and terrain, from ocean beaches to mountain ranges with ancient glaciers, rain forests to high desert, and large inland waterways to windswept prairies. Because of this incredible natural diversity in such a small corner of the world, more automobile advertisements are filmed here than anywhere else. Those EHS 1967 classmates and friends who live here already appreciate the natural gifts we enjoy. For those  who now live elsewhere, we hope these images bring back warm memories.
